We are seeking a Production Engineer with the perfect blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in optimising our manufacturing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvements, troubleshoot issues, and drive innovation throughout our production operations.
There’s plenty to do in this role, you will design, implement, and optimise production processes to meet quality and efficiency targets. You will analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. You will conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues. You will assist the design engineers with design and manufacture of new products as well as special one-off equipment. You will create reports to support any potential investment in new machinery and equipment whilst staying current with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing technology and process optimisation.
What about you? You will have proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a production engineering role and an excellent understanding of design and engineering manufacturing processes. You will either have an engineering qualification or you may be qualified through experience. Experience in pneumatics and electric circuits are desirable but not essential. You will be computer literate with knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Microsoft packages. You’ll have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities and have the ability to plan and prioritise tasks. You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively. As a Buyer you will have a keen eye for detail, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of cost-effective purchasing of products, materials, consumables, and services. Working closely with the Product & Procurement Manager you will play a crucial role in sourcing for products and suppliers, optimising supply chain efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
There’s plenty to do in this role, you will be responsible for the smooth running of daily operations and reporting. You will generate purchase orders, confirm delivery dates, costs, and update purchase orders. You will run planning reports and review data to determine replenishment order quantities and delivery dates as well as create purchase orders for direct shipment sales orders. You will also be responsible for importing goods from overseas suppliers and therefore will need to ensure the appropriate documentation for customers clearance. You will negotiate saving opportunities and liaise with suppliers on invoice queries.
What about you? You will have proven experience as a Buyer and have a good understanding of suppliers and supply chain procedures as well as auditing suppliers. You will have experience of working in the engineering sector. You’ll have strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers. You will have knowledge of Net Zero and how it impacts the supply chain and an understanding of import customs entry procedures. You will have experience of using MRP systems and be proficient in Microsoft packages and SAP with good administration skills and attention to detail. You will be a good communicator both verbally and written, be curious with a continuous improvement mindset by seeking opportunities to improve process efficiencies and have the willingness to learn and make the role your own.

As Group SAP Business/Functional Analyst, you will support primarily the financial modules and business processes and scale across other standard SAP modules (SD, PP, MM and FI), to complement the Groups effort in the full life cycle implementation of SAP, including the provision of configuration expertise, business process analysis and data migration requirements.
You will primarily be a problem solver with the capability to propose solutions to overcome barriers within the business. You will work with stakeholders to develop best practices around the integration and deployment of SAP applications within existing architectures in a multi-site environment.
There’s plenty to keep you busy, from SAP project support including analysis / requirements and project scope documents; defining and implementing work procedures, standards, and methods; performing functional configuration tasks for the SAP modules; and performing unit and integration testing and troubleshooting problems.
What about you? You will be experienced in SAP Financial modules from both a functional analyst and configuration perspective and will ideally have experience across other integrated SAP modules with regards to process and implementation. You will be an excellent communicator who is self-motivated and demonstrate a proactive approach to work.
