SALES ENGINEER (FBR)

HOME BASED OR SHEFFIELD OFFICE BASED WITH TRAVEL

The Sales Team are looking to recruit an experienced and talented Sales Engineer, to grow our well established range of foreign body removal (FBR) equipment, namely magnetic separation, metal detection and sieving equipment into the Food, Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries.

The successful candidate will be a results orientated sales professional who can drive success and manage a sales budget, with an overview of responsibilities as follows: -

  • Develop and cultivate an assigned customer base consisting of end users and OEM’s.
  • Combine technical knowledge and sales skills to offer the best solutions in a competitive market.
  • Travel within the UK to visit current & potential clients.
  • Conduct site visits to verify and document equipment conditions.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
  • Coordinate sales project requirements by using efficient time management.
  • Prepare and submit quotations.
  • Meet regular sales targets and have the ability to analyze product group performance.

    Applicants must be in possession of a formal engineering qualification, with past employment experience in either FBR, Powder processing or OEM equipment sales, with a proven sales engineer track record.

    Candidates must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills; the ability to quickly build and maintain effective working relationships, whilst instilling trust and confidence in others; prospecting, closing and growing business accounts. With commercial awareness and the ability to analyse sales trends, candidates should have a logical approach to work, with good IT skills and proven problem solving aptitude. Working on own initiative and as part of a team, candidates must be able plan and organise workload effectively with the ability to adjust to fast changing business conditions, whilst working under pressure.

    PRODUCT MANAGER

    SHEFFIELD OFFICE BASED WITH TRAVEL

    This is a new role which has arisen as part of an exciting period of growth and which sees the Business wanting to further invest in their internal product / category management capabilities.

    Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director the principal job responsibility will be to ensure the effective management of the Eclipse Magnetics product range life cycle including the implementation of tactical activities.

    The role will be varied and challenging for the right candidate with involvement in brand management, specification and development of new product ranges, supplier visits (UK & Overseas) to develop packaging, product quality review & enhancement, market research and analysis, sales & marketing team / functionality partnership, customer / supplier liaison and trade show attendance.

    Applicants must have experience in a fast-paced and often demanding engineering environment with proven performance track record in a similar product development and management role, ideally with previous experience of similar or related product ranges.

     We are looking for candidates who are commercially and technically minded and have a natural innovative flair for product and brand management, combined with ability to generate new ideas and follow through to completion.  Applicants must be confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic; results orientated and target driven; in possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills; furthermore be competent project managers with first-class time management, organisational and prioritising capabilities.

    This role require excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office + SAP experience preferred, a full valid UK driving licence and ability to undertake regular UK / international travel with regular periods away from home.
