Eclipse Magnetics Make a Difference to Disadvantaged Children with Mission Christmas Campaign

Making a Difference to Disadvantaged Children with Mission Christmas

christmas-jumper-day-posterEclipse Magnetics, part of the Spear and Jackson Group of companies, is taking part in yet another charity campaign this Christmas! This year, staff at the Sheffield Atlas site will be supporting Hallam FM’s Mission Christmas Cash for Kids campaign, which aims to make sure children living in poverty in South Yorkshire have presents to open on Christmas morning.

Christmas Jumper Day

We’ll be collecting gifts for children donated by employees, encouraging staff to bring in a gift for a child or young person aged 0-18. In addition, we’ll be raising funds for the cause by participating in a Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 6th December, where staff will enjoy dressing up in their festive finery to raise donations to support local children living in poverty this Christmas.

A Great Response to the Campaign

Group HR Manager Katie Weller said: “With 1 in 3 children living in poverty, Mission Christmas and Cash for Kids is a really worthwhile cause and one that we are delighted to be supporting as group. Each year we have a great response to this campaign and we are sure that this year’s campaign will be greeted with much enthusiasm, and of course, donations.”

Donate to Mission Christmas

The drop off point at Eclipse Magnetics’ Atlas offices in Sheffield is on the first floor, under the large Christmas tree. Drop off points officially close on Monday 16th December to ensure that Santa gets the gifts on time, and any contribution would be most appreciated. Thank you for making a difference to disadvantaged children this Christmas.
