ETNA Appoints New Vice President and General Manager

Mark Ward – Vice President and General Manager of Eclipse Tools North America (“ETNA”)

Mark was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Eclipse Tools North America in December 2021 having been with the group in various roles, most recently holding the position of Sales Director – Magnetics for ETNA.

Having started his career in the Quality Departments of several Sheffield manufacturing industries, including refractories and cutlery, Mark was responsible for their ISO certification and Quality Assurance Management systems.

Mark joined the Quality Department of the Eclipse Magnetics UK business in Sheffield in 1994. After a move to the Magnetics Sales department in 1999 he held several positions in UK Industrial Magnetics Sales before taking on the North American export business in 2004. As the business grew, and to help support our Canadian Agent WW Sales, he relocated to Canada in 2008, taking his family with him. In 2009 the group acquired the WW Sales business and in August 2009 Eclipse Tools North America was formed to support S&J Group products across North America. As ETNA and the sales team grew Mark became Sales Director – Magnetics in 2017.

With over 25 years of experience in magnetics and North American business strategy Mark has responsibility for the sales and distribution of Eclipse Magnetics products within North and South America, Neill Tools and Moore & Wright products within North America, and for Bowers Group (including Baty, Trimos and Sylvac), products within Canada.
