Eclipse Magnetics Employees Help Keep Sheffield Clean During Plastic-Free July

Employees from Eclipse Magnetics ditched their desks and donned their hi-vis this July, taking part in the company's annual community clean-up in support of Plastic-Free July.

Throughout the week, volunteers headed into the local area to collect litter from streets and public spaces around its Atlas headquarters, helping to reduce plastic waste while improving the local environment.

Rachael Reeve, Commercial Director at Eclipse Magnetics, said: "We're proud to support Plastic-Free July and to give our employees the opportunity to make a visible difference in our local community. It's fantastic to see so many colleagues giving up their time to help keep the area clean. Initiatives like this show what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose."

The annual litter pick forms part of Eclipse Magnetics' ongoing campaign for the communities in which it operates and its journey to Net Zero, as well as encouraging employees to get involved in projects beyond the workplace.

As a global campaign, Plastic-Free July raises awareness of plastic pollution and inspires people to make lasting changes that reduce waste.

The litter pick has become a well-supported annual event and has even encouraged neighbouring businesses to take part, extending the clean-up beyond the Eclipse Magnetics team.
